Just rendered my new Avatar for this forum.

Man, do you have any idea how tight a 6K limit on avatars is?

I see some users with a 22K avatar
(altasilvapuer, not to name names but as an example)

I could go a full 100x100 and have a higher quality image instead of a puny gif.

ScifiGuy, I have a 22k avatar because I uploaded it to Photobucket. This forum is on David's personal webspace, so I think the 6k limit is a good thing, personally.

I saw the upload from computer and the copy from another server.
This is the first forum that I've come across that lets you link images externally.
