so, my grandpa had a stroke yesterday and is in a coma. theres probably no chance of recovery.

Unexpectedly? Or the final chapter in a long saga?

Hopefully the right decisions will be made about continuing care - right for him and you close ones, that is, not necessarily for the hospital. Not that there are any easy ones, for anyone.

Hey - really sorry to hear that - it's a rough journey through life with our parents ... sometimes it's really good, and sometimes (like now probably), it bites big time. Best of thoughts to you now.

thanks for your support, but he died last night. the funeral is on saturday.
