The freighter's still moving at considerable speed, but is no longer accelerating. However, since both Wraith and the Marauder are also moving at the same speed* on the same vector, the freighter has, for all intents and purposes, come to a halt.

* Part of calculating a jump involves calculating the relative vector of the destination point and matching it using the ship's catapult system. In this case, the relative vector was extrapolated based on data embedded in the freighter's distress signal. Without matching this vector, Wraith would have jumped into normal space only to see the freighter and marauder zoom past at hundreds of metres per second.
