The biggest pipeline changes have been replacing Poser with Daz, and building my own character rigs in C4D. Being able to quickly and easily pose a character in the environment is infinitely easier than the old process, where I had to alt-tab to pose the character in isolation, then save, alt-tab back to C4d, press reload, and hope that they lined up correctly with the environment this time.
If I had time to rebuild the pipeline once again, I'd probably look into GPU render solutions to speed up production. Not that I can afford any of them right now, but I can dream, right? |
