Legend of the Guardians looks like a visual treat, but I probably won't go and see it. As much as I'd like to support Australian cinema, it just doesn't work to have photo-realistic animals with human facial expressions. If you want animals to express the full range of emotions then you need to stylise them (like Finding Nemo), otherwise they just end up looking a little creepy. On top of that, the trailer did nothing to convince me that the story isn't the usual formulaic coming-of-age stuff which we've seen a hundred times already.
I am, however, excited about Deathly Hallows Part 1.
