The history of cardio-augmentation goes all the way back to 1928, when Dr Mark C Lidwell invented what was to become known as the Artificial Pacemaker, at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. I've been feeling a bit down and stretched the past few weeks - probably a combination of stress and poor health. I'm sure I'll be over it soon. In the meantime, I've found some comfort in an album titled Melankton, by Kate Havnevik.
