Re: The familiar captain "Ah, Crap":

Given the number of people involved in the war, the chance that it would be him seems a bit remote. ;)

A bit remote, but... world is small ;)
Really interested how it is going to evolve!

Vast war, but people stick to small areas of operation. Helps too keep contacts fresh and deepen them. A good plot point as that captain partially owes them for blowing up the marauder that put them into the present situation.

I'm glad you guys are excited to see Captain Vrae again - this is one of several moments in this chapter which I planned out years ago.

First thought ...
Going without the weapons expert? Not good. I know it was his choice, but no one is really going to give him a chance to change his mind ... under the circumstance?

Second thought ...
I really do not like that Admiral.

Sarah's "I told you so" wouldn't be half so dramatic with Hal actually there.

Wonder if we'll end up with a case of Gowron hurling Worf through a tactical display and suffering the consequences, if you catch my metaphor.

edit: my original wording was so much niftier but, unfortunately, inaccurate.

"Perhaps it would save a lot of time and effort if I just went completely insane right now, thereby avoiding the inevitable slide."

I think 'sanity', if that means 'having it altogether' is vastly overrated. Much easier to let it all go, relax and hang out with someome who knows what they are doing. ;)

Just relax (as much as you can), you're doing fine.

The majority of visitors to CrimsonDark.com...
...were using Windows XP as their operating system
...were using Firefox as their web browser
...were running at 1280x1024*
...were viewing the site from a location in the United States**
...use US English as their primary language for their computer***
...connected to the internet via cable (as opposed to DSL or dialup)
I feel like such a rebel. Only one of those is true for me (cable modem). And yeah, 1280x1024? What's up with that? I've never even heard of that one; could it be a glitch in the reporting? 1:1.25 is a weird ratio.
If anything suspicious happens on the way to Espenson Station, I plan on blaming you.
Excellent line.

Are you ever going to do any epic space battle? If you were, would you actually tell us or make us wait to see?

Either way, keep up the GREAT GREAT work!! These 2 updates a week make reading CD more fun and less slow paced!! :D
