I did the same thing for a piece I did a while ago. Named my ship Whedon.

It wound up killing it's entire crew at the end.

Well, there will be at least one Google hit for "Rendrathir" once Google re-scans this forum :D

LOL, I had chili for supper before getting on! Though here because of one person does not like hot food of any type it is very tame. I am starting to like Kari more and more though, at least has a good sense of taste ;)

so, liking hot food, is it just a matter of taste or what you are used to? I grew up where chili was waterd down beans and meat with stewed tomatos with no real heat. if Id have lived in a house where there was Kim Chee night, on fridays, perhaps, Id have grown up with liking the spicier things in life? just in case anyone doesnt know what Kim Chee is, its boiled cabbage in pepper juice. not as bad as eating a plate full of habeneros, but close.

I suppose the more one eats hotter and hotter spices the less sensitized one becomes to the heat. Either that or the heat just burns out all the sensors in your mouth. Personally, I like hot chili but when it gets above blast furnace stage I pass. Why torture both ends of the pipe.

I've heard of Kim Chee but never got the opportunity to try it.

From what I've read, chilli (and other hot spices) are addictive. You really do want to have them more and more frequently... if your digestive system can stand it.

is it just me, or does Kari's hand look a tad... off in Monday's strip. I get that she's supposed to be holding the spoon in her fist (as opposed to a more pencil-like grip), but it looks like the spoon is floating in mid-air with her hand around it, protecting the handle. Is this something like the placement issues mentioned back when Kari was shown playing the piano?

As for the chili, well, my spice tolerance (or maybe just the burning pain that it takes to actually make me complain) has increased a little bit over the past couple years, but I think Vaegyr and Kari would still think me quite the wimp.

Also, I'm not sure what exactly it is, but for some reason, I like the first panel. I'd ask if it could be tweaked into a wallpaper, but I somehow get the feeling it might not fare quite so well in a different format.
Incidentally, I don't think I've noticed Niobe's name spray-painted on the side there before. That's not a new addition, is it?
Some pithy statement goes here.

you could be right. it does seem like some sort of levitating spoon.

Im really not critizing I think the comic is great. I dont care if spoons look perfect or go zooming around the room either.

Well... heat does rise. Maybe the chili is pulling the spoon out of her hand. What-do-I-know? If I could handle the software as well I'd know the answer. :D
