I do hope that. Or at least someone you can talk to. Or maybe a 3rd party, and the marauders realize that is the real enemy, not Niobe.

Either way, I doubt it will be just more firing. There will be something.

Let's call that ship a "super-marauder" for now, lacking a better name.

There are some distinct features that make them related. Color-scheme, frontal armanent, shape of the ship and stabilizer layout.

But this ship is frigate class or even a small destroyer, while the marauders are more of a gun-boat size. Pretty sure it might have a hangar to launch drones, deploy mines, or other small fighter-sized support ships. You don't wanna be hit by that baby's lance either!

I don't see a lot of point defense turrents though. Makes me wonder about this ships defensive capabilities.

Whoever built this and the marauders (seems to be the same design office / shipyard) must be of the opinion "attack is the best defense"

Edit: I take that back. On second look on the next page that baby has definitely enough defensive capability

I really hope we get a good close look at that giant marauder, what a beautiful and terrifying looking ship!

It's like a regular Marauder, but bigger and pointier.

Perhaps we should call it a "Greater Marauder" and the others "Lesser Marauder"? Somehow I suspect they wouldn't like the "Lesser" part...

Edit: That being said, I doubt they can fire that weapon twice in a row without some lengthy recharging. So we'll probably see its "ordinary heavy frontal marauder guns" get employed against the last one.

That'd be "almost" a fair fight.

If whoever pilots that last marauder keeps their nerves and stays on a head on vector, they might even be able to return fire and score a hit or two before they die in glory.

. If they turn and try to run however... Well, I bet the greater marauder is VERY good at chasing prey. It would not be a very glorious demise getting direct hits up their engines...
