Not having the pre-story on this segment I'm at a loss, would hope she seeks counseling however; bet she requests transfer from training to either front line or anti pirate operations. Hope the author posts the url for the back story on this segment, thought I had read the entire saga prior to hiatus. Guess I didn't. :?:

In this case The Universe won, one less ship load of trash and scum. :x Kari and The Navy both lost, The Navy a valuable dedicated warrior who would have made Kari proud a Space Fighter Craft the cost of both the Craft and the Pilot Training, (Yes their is a dollar and cents cost attached to everything in War). Kari more of the fragile grasp she has on her sanity.

And now the Elephant is fully in the room. Is it too late for Kari will she get Med Discharged from the Navy or will she get the counseling she needs?

Story is right about one thing, "They don't want to know". As much as has been said about PTSD since Nam, it's still a "Nut up and do your job Soldier. None of this namby pamby psychological krap." attitude in the service. :!: :!: :!:

Can't wait to see how Chapter 2 goes, whether we get to see the old crew again (well, we saw one of them, but all-too-briefly), what awful mess humanity is going to get itself into this time. :geek:

David, now that you have redesigned the Scimitar to what it was always supposed to be, are we going to see some Lucasing of the earlier pages? ;)
