I like a few filler pages especially for the artwork that obviously took lots of time and effort, but somehow didnt quite make as big an appearance, in the comic as expected. keep up the good work

I like the new Chapter page. quite gory yet with interesting fine print.

A mystery, indeed, but it is quite elementary, Dhraakellian. It "got there" by moving from a blood source (such as a human) onto the paper. Hopefully that clarifies the situation.

Can't wait for Monday's panel.

Yes... but the question is... whos blood is it, and who splattered it there, if the answers are not the same person.

Who is to say, for that matter, that it is even human, or even that it's actually blood?

Oh, the assumptions we make as we attempt to puzzle out David's enigmas. Keep it coming, David! This comic has been better mental exercise for me so far than some of my college classes from this past semester (and far more fun, as well!)

I like the way David works allusions in, but I don't always recognise them. Take the tour dates on tjhe lower right of #258. I recognise the 3 stations as references to Josh Whedon, Tim Minear and Jane Espenson, but "Rendrathir" and "Gaidana" have me beat. Are they just random names?

Aha...I found one of the typos you mentioned on Commodore Pearson's certificate of rank. "Cansed" actually is an acronym that you probably didn't intend for the certificate.

Zero hits on Google for "Rendrathir".

It looks and sounds almost Sindarin, but I don't see anything sensical in the appendix of my copy of The Silmarillion.


And names of SF authors make great sources for starship names. I used the UFS Heinlein and the Straczynski in a story I wrote for a SF literature class.

Rendrathir and Gaidana are both made-up names, and they've both been mentioned in the comic before.
