Welcome! It's likely that Whisper was still feeling a little put out from being forced to let the Syndicate Ship go. Kidnapper just had particularly bad timing. Well, and bad choice of attire. Maybe just bad everything. Hopefully he'll straighten up or quit the business. He's cruising for a knife in the back.

Might be. I hadn't considered it that way. Looks to me more like an offer that he can't refuse, combined with a one last chance. He might have to perform a single major favour and live with the Sword of Damocles over his head, but I feel he has the opportunity to come out of this relatively intact.

I thought Hock and Daniel (and now Whisper) are on the ship, playing in CVS there. You don't want to steal a ship with them on board...
Or am I mistaken somewhere?
