Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

It's the strange things that make the comic great. The fact that you pay attention to little details like that (even if only in passing sometimes) means that I can immerse myself all the deeper into the world of the Niobe and her crew; in short, it's an escapist reader's paradise.

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

I think we've seen it before, but I don't think it's been red, yet. My guess is that it's red as a warning because there's a distress beacon out.

Re: Movies I have To See

Actually, there is some slight discrepancy between Star Wars' movies and novelizations, but it's (doubly) in the opposite direction. From what I have heard and seen in references to the novelization elsewhere (I'm not that interested in reading the novelizations, myself, so my information's potentia...

The Forums

Well, I see that the forums are back up, at least for the moment. Did you manage to streamline the code, or did the hosting company just put it back up temporarily?

Re: Avatars enabled!

Froggy, the problem was probably filesize. I noticed while uploading the one I've currently got that the filesize limit is far lower than on most other forums, and than it was on Nightgig, I believe. I just chalked it up to this being on David's personal webspace, and just uploaded mine to Photobuck...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Lol. I see the plot as someone having a 1$ on new ships to attack the heroes. of course there ARE more logical ways to go about it,. but when did logic ever get in the way of a plot and win? The image this gives my tired brain: "...So just come on down to your local Golgotha/Ventrue/Intros Dealer, ...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Glad to see I'm not the only one who senses the inevitably impending pirate attack. ;)

I wonder if it'll be anyone we've seen before. I can't think of anyone left alive who would be doing actual piracy that we've previously seen, but it wouldn't be the first time I've forgotten someone.

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Who is to say, for that matter, that it is even human, or even that it's actually blood ? Oh, the assumptions we make as we attempt to puzzle out David's enigmas. Keep it coming, David! This comic has been better mental exercise for me so far than some of my college classes from this past semester (...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

I'm curious what's underneath the blood spatter. Oh, and knowing how the blood got there in the first place might be nice too. A mystery, indeed, but it is quite elementary, Dhraakellian. It "got there" by moving from a blood source (such as a human) onto the paper. Hopefully that clarifies the sit...
