Seconded. The CD video "Distant Thunder" is excellent. The Controller's expression in the last few seconds of the clip is so poignant.

Interesting thought. What suits best would to some degree depend on the scale of the battles. FT is the obvious choice for fleet actions, but for one-on-one I'd prefer something a bit more detailed.
