Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

BTW, singling out Vrae's ship, while Bob was still awake pretty much pointed him out as an accomplice. Since he was complicit in selling them out, a) his involvement was already known, and b) why should our heroes care what shit they smear on him? Kari is right too. Mensk already wants them dead, a...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Dropping a guy who's holding a gun and might have his finger on the trigger like that could be risky. But I'd have felt inclined to bounce him up and down a few times. Just to be sure. And chin-straps are apparently a lost technology in the future. :)

Excellent Sarah triptych across the bottom of today's comic... Nice changes of expression.

Yes, but in the fourth panel, the gun-flash (gun-beam?) should be reflected too. Gunshot to the base of the skull; the classics never go out of style.

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

I guess what lead to most confusion is that at beginning of 11.02 we see a gun being tossed away and at the end we see a gun being picked up. Since there is nothing to indicate directly that it is not the same gun, the audience thinks it is. If they had e.g. distinctly different color (e.g. silver ...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Awesome page on lighting. Never realised how much went into it. That last "fuzzy highlight" mask tip solved a little problem I've been wrestling with in GIMP. 谢谢!

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

I get the impression that only enough time has passed at the station for the "court martial". How long, after all, would they keep a cruiser captain and her ship twiddling their thumbs?

Looks like the Admiral is the sort who leaves his security settings on the installation defaults...

Re: What if Crimson Dark was a RPG?

Personally I've always preferred skill-based progression rather than pre-defined classes. I haven't really played enough RPGs to comment much. The only one I ever put much time into was Traveller in games run by a group that kept to the original rules (the ones in those funny little black books). I...

Re: Name that space station

One of the suggested names is Serenity. It's polling very well, but some guy by the name of Colbert is trying an end run to get it named after him - apparently that's what he does. Last year, I saw a Colbert Report on the World Mind Sports Games being held in Beijing, in which he totally botched hi...
