Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Agreed, it's goign to be sad to see it finish. I do hope it gets picked up again from time to time. My personal dream job would have time for me to play with a personal play space of an international interspace universe, but I respect David for making the decision he has, and to finish the product i...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

I'm wondering how many pages of our friends will be on screen before david's buffer gets completed.

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Yeah, sanity notwithstanding, all 3 of us mad fans deserve an answer to the current hanging plotline. I expect David to keep his job, go insane with work hours, and still cater to our data-fanbase whine of Whims to be met.

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

in the mid 1990's I flew from Hong Kong to Vancouver, via Los Angeles. The agency I bought the tickets from had no idea that a transit visa was required to get from plane A to plane B which took us through customs. I had no travel visa. I was ignorant. So were the 14 accompanying students. 50% of th...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Are you sure that you can't fire a railgun into the US visa requirements. David only managed to get his visa with 4 days remaining. Sounds a bit shirty to me.

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Feels like an end of chapter page to me. Sorry to see CD move away. The highlight of the webcomic for me was the betrayal of the former owner of the Scar. That shot, that death - nicely played. The story of Whisper is also very enticing. A nice mystery rests there. I hope David can hold onto these m...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Wow - I had a similar feeling to that I had watching Londo and the Centari Mass Drivers in Bab5.

very impressive stuff to get rail gun momentum happening with mass. Does Mass beats Missiles beats Lasers?

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

I quite agree Charles. The interior fittings are just loosely held in place unless you have multiple bulkheads scattered through the ship in the same way that battleships have bulkheads to hold water and air in the area that's damaged. If the front is disposable human living space and serves no mili...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

and that is a shame if the only one of the two forces subject to this battle cant cause damage.

I did not expect a strategic retreat, i expected a hollywood style happy ending to this chapter.
