Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Now to the page, Is that a ghost or a hologram. I was also wondering if you had any nano-technology in your comic. I know its a growing field of technology today. it has very wide range of aplacations from repairing structures to keeping some one healthy. A comic that has nano-tech heavily used is ...

Re: Movies I have To See

I'm looking forward to Star Trek XI. There are several things in the Trailers which totally piss me off, such as Enterprise having been built on Earth, let alone where a Civilian might accidentally see it, but it has potential. Why is it a bad thing that a civilian might see the enterprise? By the ...

Re: Favorite Sci-fi

Look at the bright side, the show's on Fox so it likely won't last long enough to go down the cliche path you've outlined.

“If your head tells you one thing, and your heart tells you another, before you do anything, you should first decide whether you have a better head or a better heart” - Marilyn vos Savant -asp Alternatively you could just ignore both and listen to your spleen. Good ol' spleen. Never led me wrong.

Re: Official "Discuss the latest news" thread

I didn't think it made sense to put this under "discuss the latest page" so I started this thread instead. All I have to say is that I'll take that Australian summer right now over the bitter cold winter we're getting in the Midwest part of the States. Odd weather indeed. Here in Colorado it was 60...

Re: Movies I have To See

I would describe myself as a purist. Books and Film are different media, and therefore excel at different story-telling devices and motifs, therefore I think it's unrealistic to expect a movie to be 100% identical to the book. . Star Wars stayed faithful to the books but then they had George Lucas ...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

I was thinking a case of mistaken identity. I mean, they've resigned as privateers but they don't seem like they'd be anxious to remove firepower from their ship. So, now they're deep in republic space, surrounded by patrols who are looking for stuff to do and they're sitting in a heavily armed ship...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Actually, the spoon is being developed with a cybernetic interface (for those with neural augments). They just have to think the spoon from the plate to their mouth and don't have to touch the thing with their hands. It's great for the busboy who can call the whole lot of flatware into the kitchen ...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread

Obviously it's a high tech levi-spoon. By building minute anti-gravity devices into the handle of the spoon, it can be made to project a field that perfectly conforms to any users hand, providing a better grip regardless of hand preference or missing/artificial digits (it's a problem when people wit...

Not a fan of the vanilla ones. Don't know why, but if I want a vanilla flavored cookie, it's Nilla Wafers or nothing.
