Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread
One thing that was not clear to me; what ship was Larissa's father and his entourage "banished" to by Larissa? Surely not the Wraith (since they wouldn't want anyone else on that ship due to it having a body there, among other things), and that space they were in looked too big to be a lifepod, thou...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread
if Vaegyr turns out to be a JAK doesn't that mean he's already dead?

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread
Problem with that approach is it leaves Larissa's husband Vaegyr vulnerable to retaliation. They still don't know where he's being held, only her father does, and maybe the assistant. Hence our plucky crew essentially taking him captive, to presumably have a "chat" with him.

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread
If there are no planets build Dyson swarms. Why are they still even using planets in the first place? Artificial habitats are safer and can house trillions around a single star. A Dyson swarm won't be able to hold atmosphere on its own. Having to construct so much pressurized free floating habitats...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread
I believe it was Winston Churchill who said, paraphrasing; "Democracy is not the best form of government. But other forms are worse." Considering that it's human nature to look out for oneself and one's own at the expense of everyone else, democracy is the best form of government humans can come up ...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread
Re: today's page (2/8); hope the Behemoth gives those two warships a fight, or at least holds them off long enough for Daniel and Whisper to salvage that superconductor, or else their arrival will turn out to be very bad news for our merry crew.

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread
Good question - she is an enemy combatant after all, and on the losing side. She doesn't appear to be armed, or in any shape to put up any more of a fight, but only the author knows for sure...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread
My guess would be once they lost power the gunships decided not to waste any more railgun slugs on them. But they may still be about to fall into the planet's atmosphere, or leak all their atmosphere into space, or freeze solid due to lack of power for heat...even if they're no longer taking fire, i...

Re: Official "Discuss the latest page" thread
Yeah, someone on the bridge is getting splattered by that shot. We'll have to wait 'till Monday to see who, but it's unlikely everyone there escaped unscathed. And let's hope there's some kind of armored shields that automatically come down in case of such a breach, otherwise the survivors of the sh...
