I checked back to when Sarah collapsed and the Mazikeen virus. It looks like a "proof" is to corner someone associated with the collective and convince them you are going to examine their software then the virus self erases and they collapse. Better have life support on standby to stop it being murd...

Interesting damage - the bits haven't moved very far, even vaporisation cuts would have produced some outward pressure. Perhaps it is designed to come apart?
